Executive Program: How to Apply

Applications

No courses will take place under this program in 2013.

Applications are reviewed and processed on first come first served basis, subject to availability of space and candidate backgrounds. Candidate’s experience, scope of current responsibilities, and the position will be considered in accepting the candidate to optimize the learning experience and exchange of ideas among the participants. Fluency in English is expected.

Candidates are notified of the results of the review within two weeks of the receipt of the applications and, if accepted, are requested to register online and make the appropriate fee payments for final clearance. All payments must be received two weeks prior to the date of the seminar at the latest.

Registration Fees

All participants are charged approximately US$ 2,000 to 2,500 for a three-day intensive course. Fees may differ slightly depending on the country chosen as venue. The fee covers tuition, study materials, coffee break refreshments, lunches and the opening dinner.

A 20% discount is applied to two or more participants belonging to the same organization; a 20% discount applies to the members of the IP associations and organizations recognized by WIPO; a 40% discount is made available to participants from developing countries; and a special rate is available to participants from least-developed countries.  Qualified candidates from least developed countries may contact the Executive Program directly at the email address below for the special rate and assistance.

Travel and Accommodation

Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the Program venue as well as accommodation. Accommodations are usually selected by the organizers at special prices for speakers and participants.
