WIPO eLearning Center

The Distance Learning Program has introduced a new learning platform (WIPO eLearning Center).  You need to sign in with a WIPO User Center (WUC) Account to access the new WIPO eLearning Center (WeLC) and your course(s).

Please note that you do not need a WIPO User Center Account to browse the Catalog of Courses on offer.

Getting started

  • If you don't have a WIPO User Center Account yet, create one now.
  • Once your WIPO User Center Account is enabled and validated, you can login to the eLearning Center to access the courses for which you have been enrolled, or enroll for available courses.
  • Please visit the WIPO User Center help page if you experience difficulties
  • NOTE: As part of the WeLC services, enrollment in and access to the eLearning courses will be managed via the WIPO User Center.  This means that once you register with the WIPO User Center and create a set of access codes (i.e. username and password), you will be able to use them in any future service that we provide, for example, WIPO Summer School on IP.

Further information

The DL-001 course is the first course that has been migrated to the new platform.  Students who were enrolled in this course before May 27, 2011, will be required to enroll again.

If you forget your username and/or password, the WIPO User Center has facilities to remind you the same.  Your account with the WIPO User Center will be linked to the email address you use when you apply for your Account.  For your security, all reminders of username and password details will be sent to that email address.  It will also be possible to change this email address by accessing your account.

Note: Your WIPO User Center Account and WIPO eLearning Center access codes will be the same.
