Fifth Japan-ASEAN Heads of IP Offices Meeting

On May 25, 2015, Mr. Yuji Okuma, Director of the WIPO Japan Office (WJO), and Mr. Okamoto, a Counsellor at the WJO, attended the fifth Japan-ASEAN Heads of Intellectual Property Offices Meeting in Nara, Japan.

This meeting evaluated a cooperation program on intellectual property issues for fiscal year 2014 and discussed a cooperation program for fiscal year 2015.

As the WJO is involved in some of the program items through the Japan Funds-In-Trust, Mr. Okuma gave a presentation introducing the WJO’s activities in terms of its contributions to ASEAN member countries.
