Dependency Survey

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is conducting a Madrid-user survey on dependency principle issues. Under dependency, an international registration might be cancelled if the basic mark ceases to have effect.

The findings of this survey will be presented to the Working Group on the Legal Development of the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks.

Your opinion is important to advance the ongoing discussion on the dependency principle in the Working Group. Your contribution is essential to ensure that the information we gather is as comprehensive and useful as possible.
