Payment of Fees - Hague System

Under the Hague system, all fees must be paid in Swiss francs (CHF).

Fees can be paid by:

Credit card

  • E-filing (only for registration)
  • E-Renewal (only for renewals)
  • E-Payment (only for payment of fees as notified in irregularity letters or other WIPO communications with regard to international applications)

Deductions from WIPO current accounts are authorized either by:

Payments can only be made in Swiss francs.

Note that all bank charges are to be settled by the payor.

Please indicate the purpose of your payment and information regarding the application (basic application and/or registration number, IRN, E-Filing reference number, applicant or holder name, etc.) in the reference of your payment.

Payment follow-up

The International Bureau of WIPO will send an acknowledgement of receipt to the person or entity effecting a payment to a WIPO bank or postal account within 10 days from such receipt. If the aforementioned acknowledgement is not received within the said period, please inform the International Bureau of WIPO at the following address: income.mark-dm@wipo.int.
