External Relations Division

The External Relations Division is responsible for managing WIPO’s interactions and partnerships with external stakeholders.

Our activities include:

• Strengthening relations with the United Nations System and other Intergovernmental Organizations by monitoring IP-related processes and meetings and providing contributions and information in support of multilateral processes and initiatives;
• Managing institutional relationships and partnerships with NGOs and industry;
• Facilitating relations with accredited observers;
• Managing the Pat-INFORMED database
